We had breakfast at our hotel and took the taxi that the receptionist helped us to book last night to the HSR station. The taxi driver was early. We booked at 7 am and he was already waiting at the hotel around 6.50 am or earlier we don't know because we went down to the lobby at 6.50 am and he was there already. So we quickly grab our breakfast, eat it and off we go to the HSR (High Speed Railway) station. While we are eating the taxi driver put our luggage into the car to save time.
Reached HSR station

Getting our tickets that have been purchased online. Advantage of buying it online earlier is price will be cheaper than buying it on the spot. The ticket cost NT$470 each person, If on the spot should be around NT$600+ if I'm not mistaken.
Here's our ticket. Now waiting for the HSR.
Gonna say bye to Taoyuan~
Waiting~
It's here!
Inside is just like airplane got seat number.
Arrived at Taichung less than 1 hour. Moving on to wait for bus here.
There is free shuttle bus to feng jia 逢甲 when you show your HSR ticket to the bus driver. We were so confused which bus to go into keep asking the counter person there. They say just wait there. There are few bus we can go in but we went in 161 I think. The shuttle bus that is free of charge.
We went down at Feng Chia U. (Fuxing Rd) 逢甲大学(福星路) as our homestay is just nearby the area. When we are going to other places we will also come to this stop or the opposite stop with the same name I think.
Part of Feng Jia 逢甲
When reached, we searched for our homestay for a long time. Walk here seem wrong, walk there seem wrong, I think we at least spent half an hour searching for it as it has no signboard which we didn't know. In the end we just call the owner and finally found it. Tadaaa~ pretty nice room~
It's a room for 4 person actually and only cost NT$1200 per night! Cheap! We stayed for 3 nights so total cost is NT$3600 for the stay. The homestay is call feng jia xin su 逢甲新宿. Just need to email to them to ask about the rooms and pricing but need to be in Chinese. I'm not sure if they understand English or not as a lot of Taiwanese has poor English so it's better to write in Chinese. They doesn't collect deposit first, you only pay when you step into the room.

After settle down our things we went out to have our lunch. Walked around the stall are mostly full of people and in the end we went to McD instead.
Our first meal in Taiwan.
After lunch, we head to the rainbow village 彩虹卷村 using bus but I kinda forgot using which number. May be 29? There are a few that can reach, just look at the signboard at the bus station and find the bus that got got to 嶺東科大站. When reach, just walk straight and there is a right turn if not wrong or just follow the crowd, if not just use GPS, it will direct you there. Not very far from the bus stop. May be around 5 minutes walk. So, here we are~
Taiwan version Iron man in action.
Before leaving, we saw them playing baseball which is not so popular in Malaysia.
Then, we take the bus to yizhong street 一中街 wheres there is lots of food and can shop too.

It's not a big place. Kinda small actually. We only spend like 10 to 15 minutes taking photos and we left to TungHai University 东海大学 using taxi as the sky looks like gonna rain soon. It cost us around NT$200 to reach the university. And the main purpose of going to the university is only the church there that is famous. It's called Luce Memorial Chapel 路思義念紀教堂.
Then, my friends were thirsty so stop by the shop inside the university to have a drink. Before leaving, we saw them playing baseball which is not so popular in Malaysia.
