Hey~ I'm back to update bout my Taiwan Trip. So below is our itinerary.
第一天：到桃园机场
第二天：彩虹卷村，东海大学，一中商圈/一中街
第三天：清境农场 青青草原，逢甲夜市
第二天：彩虹卷村，东海大学，一中商圈/一中街
第三天：清境农场 青青草原，逢甲夜市
第四天：宫原眼科，心之芳庭，新社古堡，中社花市，高美湿地，逢甲夜市
第五天：西门町，五分埔，饶河夜市，台北101
第六天：菁桐，十分，九份，新光三越
第五天：西门町，五分埔，饶河夜市，台北101
第六天：菁桐，十分，九份，新光三越
第七天：阳明山 竹子湖，淡水，士林夜市
第八天：回马来西亚...
If you can't read chinese word of the above it's ok as I have written a little bit more below in English below. The above is just a brief one on places I went for the 8 days of my trip.
(18/4) 1st day: Reached Tao Yuan airport at around 9.05 pm. Bought taiwan sim card called 大哥大(da ge da) cost NT$500 for 7 days with unlimited internet usage and NT$150 free talktime and 悠悠卡 (you you card) cost NT$300 (NT$100 is deposit and NT$200 is the credit) which we needed for the public transports like bus and mrt. Then used taxi to our hotel called 花语旅馆 (Hua-yue hotel). So the night for 1st day is settled.
(19/4) 2nd day: Had breakfast at our hotel. Then headed to the High Speed Railway (HSR) station (高铁站) to go down to 台中 (Tai Chung). When reached we used the free shutter bus to go to our homestay at 逢甲 (feng jia), around the 逢甲夜市(feng jia night market) area called 逢甲新宿 (feng jia xin su). After settle our things in the homestay we went out for lunch. Then used bus to go to 彩虹卷村 (rainbow village). Next, move on to 东海大学 (dong hai university). Then, head to 一中街 (yi zhong street) for our dinner and shopping. So that ends the 2nd day.
(20/4) 3rd day: Had breakfast nearby then used bus to Taichung station to buy bus ticket to go up to 清境农场 (qing Jing farm) at 南投 (nan tou). The bus time to reach up there is around more than 2 hours. We spend our time till 2.30pm then have the bus to go back down to 逢甲夜市 (Feng Jia night market) which when we reach is around 5 sth already and we can take our time walking around but we went back hotel to rest a while first before going out again.
(21/4) 4th day: This day we hired a driver for the whole day to bring us around the places we have agreed before going there. It cost us NT$3500 for the transport of that day. The fee is excluding entrance fee. So we went to 宫原眼科 (gong yuan yan ke) which is famous for their ice cream, then to 心之芳庭 (Xin zhi fang ting) a place that is suitable for couples to go and a good photoshoot place, then to 新社古堡 (Xin she gu bao) a place that has building like castle a nice photoshooting place too, next, we went to 中社花市 (zhong she hua shi) a photoshoot place full of flowers, then to 高美湿地 (Gao mei shi di) a place that will see real windmills and is famous for the sunset view and last we are send back to our homestay and our dinner just settle at the night market again.
(22/4) 5th day: Our stay at Taichung ended and we moved on to go up to Taipei using the railway which is slower then HSR. When reach Taipei, have to transit using MRT to 西门町 (xi men ding) to check in to our homestay call 365 Taipei homestay which is just nearby 阿忠面线 (ah zhong mian xian), quite near to the MRT. Then we walk around xi men ding and ate our lunch there. After that move on to 五分铺 (wu fen pu) for clothes hunting. For dinner, we just went to the 饶河夜市 (Rao he night market) which is just nearby. After dinner, we stop by Taipei 101 before going back to rest.
(23/4) 6th day: The day to 平溪 (ping xi) and 九份 (jiu fen). We used railway to 瑞芳 (rui fang) then bought the train ticket for 平溪一日游 (ping xi one day trip pass) there cost NT$166. We went to 菁桐 (Jing tong) first then go 十分 (shi fen). Please note that the train is like 1 hour only one train so please check the train timetable when you go down the station. At 十分 (shi fen) we visited the 十分瀑布 (shi fen waterfall) using bicycle. After done which 十分 we went back to 瑞芳 (rui fang station) then use bus to go up to 九份 (jiu fen). When going back from 九份 (jiu fen), there is bus which head back to Taipei so we used that bus. When reach Taipei we went to 新光三越 (Xin Guang San Yue) a shopping center which has a LINE shop in it which my friend is a LINE addict and wanted to go there. So, that's the last stop of the day before going back to rest.
(24/4) 7th day: Had our breakfast nearby homestay then head to 阳明山 (yang ming shan) using bus. When reach 阳明山总站 (yang ming shan head quarter) need to change to another bus to go up again and that bus is only 1 hour or 2 hours a bus I forgot. So you will see a lot of people lining up to get in the bus. Therefore I recommend to hire a driver if wanna go there. Seriously, we regret for not doing so as need to walk a lot in the mountain and we didn't know the direction as there are many different stop and a lot of junctions. Our planning was to stop at a few places but end up only one place which is the 竹子湖 (zhu zhi hu). Then after that from the mountain we used bus to go to MRT station then we went to 淡水 (dan shui) using MRT. At 淡水 (dan shui) we ride bicycle to 渔人码头 (yu ren ma tou). After back, we went to 士林夜市 (shi lin night market) for dinner. So that the last stop for the day and almost end the trip.
(25/4) 8th day: Early in the morning, we are already on the way to airport. So that ends the trip with a nice female taxi driver who bought breakfast for us free of charge.
