A Day Trip to Sematan

Hello June~ Starting off with few days holiday of Hari Gawai! Yay! Finally a time to rest to the max! Working life in office is just ain't fun at all. It's just so boring and dull life with lots of paper work to do where everyone is hoping for public holidays to come. The more holidays, the happier we are! Haha. During weekends or holidays, I always love to go back to the nature, visiting places like beach, hot spring, mountain or cave, somewhere that are a little far from the city. So this time, me and few friends went to Sematan for a day trip. It was more than an hour but below two hours drive to there.

We went to the Palm Beach at Sematan. Entrance Fee for day trip was RM5 for adult and RM3 for child. The place was full of people as it was public holiday for us in Sarawak. So now, let the photos tell u.

The weather was lovely in the morning with a bit of clouds and not too hot. But during noon time, it was very hot so we decided to go to the waterfall nearby. My friend went to get the map from the resort there and off we go to the waterfall. While on the way to the waterfall we saw the below views.

and the road is full of these..don't know what it is called and so we decided to stop the car and take some photos here.

Nature is the best art that can be produce. Love it there!

Reach the waterfall and found out that there are many people there too, so didn't manage to get near to the waterfall, only get to dip our feet into the cool stream. So I didn't take much photos there and didn't dare to take my phone out again due to previous sad incident. Sorry, no photos can be seen for the waterfall. Then, we went for lunch at xiao lin seafood center when we feel hungry already and it was around 2 something by that time. Finish eating around 3 something and we ended the trip by going back kuching for Sunny Hill ice cream before going home.
