冬至

一转眼，一年一度的冬至又到了。时间过真快得，我们也老了一岁。我也做工一年多了。大人的世界真的是不好玩，好多事要烦恼，最多的还是钱的问题，没钱什么都难。所以趁还年轻要努力多赚和存钱，不然以后难生活。现在物价一直起，薪水却没起，只能省吃俭用才会有钱好存。好啦，不啰嗦了。今天的重点是冬至不讲那些了。

今年的冬至，我做了我的专属星星汤圆还加了爱心汤圆 当然也有传统的圆圆的汤圆啦。妈妈以前都会说汤圆就是要圆圆的才叫汤圆，我就说做了开心就好了嘛。但今年她不说了，就说随便我，看我能做几粒，哈哈。我就做瞒多粒的，不但有星星还有爱心看了都开心吃了也开心。呵呵。我拍了照片我朋友分享还有朋友说也要一碗，哈哈，好开心。就是要这样做到开心就好嘛。不一定要跟着传统的，要有创意和创新，生活才会精彩嘛。对不对？xD

Outdoor shooting

First outdoor shooting tried. Featuring Shi Yu for this shooting of "Morning in the Garden". This is also a last minute decision. We decided this the night before and hoping for nice weather with a bit of sun and there we have it. I have to say my cam is harder to shoot outdoor as it's harder to look at its LCD screen due to reflection, just like it's harder to read your phone when you are outside under the sun. Even so, we still able to get few nice shots. Happy about it. Heeee~

Second Shooting

It was a public holiday and was a last minute decision to have this shooting. After venue and theme was decided, we straight headed there. I was planning to try an outdoor shooting but was forced to change due to weather problem. It was raining heavily during that time. Hope can get a nice weather for outdoor shooting next time. So, featuring Aderine for this shooting with the theme of "An evening at the mall". It simply means what we normally do at the mall.

Damai Trip part 1

This was a trip planned to celebrate the birthday of the three October ladies since they suggested it and was my first outing trip with colleagues. The date was last week 5th Oct to 6th Oct but I was tired last week so only write it up now. We booked the hotel room through a colleague's friend's friend with a cheaper price for only RM158 per room of hill view room (exclude breakfast) which is the cheapest room and can squeeze more people in a room. It can fit in 4-5 person per room. We have 8 person so we booked 2 rooms. So, this is our room with 3 single beds. There is one bed that can be pulled out from one of the bed so each person get a bed to sleep.

 It's has lots of space here. I believe 6 person can squeeze in one room as the other 2 beds can be pulled down too. 

Holika Holika Egg Soap

Recently, I just came to know about this Holika Holika egg soap. Done some research from internet before buying it and all was good review about it so had a try. It was on sales with buy 1 free 1. Original price was RM44.90 but it's only like RM22.45 for one box of 2 eggs for the promotion period. Me and my friends shared the cost. We got one box each and exchange the eggs as each box has the same colour eggs. So we got red clay and white egg soap.

TonyMoly Foot Mask

Bought this TonyMoly Foot Mask for RM15.90 if not wrong. It's a peeling mask. Your dead skin can be peel after few days. I forget if is 7 days or 14 days. So I tried it and below is the result.

A Day Trip to Borneo Highlands (Part 1)

Finally got chance to come here after planning for few times! Excited! Woke up early and went breakfast and off we go. I'm with family for this time. If it wasn't my uncle and aunt who wanted to go, I wouldn't have this chance too as they came back for holiday few a week plus only and with weekends so I can go. I love going outdoors to the nature.

The day trip package costs RM100 for more than 4 person which is inclusive of transport to go up and return from foot hill, tours of 4 spots and lunch. If is less than 4 person, the price will be RM120. It takes around 45 mins-1 hour to reach the place from Kuching. 

So, here we are at the entrance of Borneo Highlands Resort.

This is the 2nd round activity after going to Panchor Hot Spring. After having our lunch at BDC area, we head to play bowling at Crystal Bowling, located on top of BDC Everrise, 2nd floor of the building, the floor below Popular bookstore. Detail enough? Haha.

The rate was RM6.90 per game for adult on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday. It is a compulsory to rent the shoes from them which cost us RM3 per pair. And u can bring your on socks or buy from them at RM2.40. So, if you didn't bring socks, the total payment will be RM12.30 per person for one game.

Panchor Hot Spring

It's time to relax ourselves during the holiday after working for so long. So, me and my friends decided to go hot spring. There are 2 hot spring that I know in Kuching which are Panchor hot spring and Annah Rais hot spring. Two are of different direction, Annah Rais is nearer to Borneo Highland while Panchor is nearer to Serian Road. It takes about 45 mins-1 hour to reach, not too far. You can search for Kampung Panchor instead of Panchor Hot spring in google map because it won't come out for panchor hot spring.

Panchor hot spring has improved since my last visit in 2011 as you can see it here. It is bigger and more beautiful now compare to last time. I guess it's because the number of people visiting has increase and they have sufficient money to build it bigger. It getting popular that when we got there around 10 sth in the morning, there are a lot of people already and some people are even leaving already. The entrance fee is just RM3 only! Cheap isn't it? No time limit too.

Logos Hope

Look what's back after 2 years! Logos Hope! The floating book fair! Was here 2 years ago with my uni gang but now we are all separated so couldn't come together again. Memories flew by when I was there again. Miss them so much~ Hope we can gather again soon.

Ma new toy

Finally, I get to rub off one of my wishlist. Guess what? If u read my blog previously I have mentioned something that I would want after I got my first salary but unfortunately I wasn't able to get it when I got my salary as it wasn't enough. That's why it has been delayed till now and I've done a lot of research about it before I decide to get it. Know what is it by now? It is getting my own camera!

You can skip this part if you want. I'm just telling how I finally decide on a camera. I was first aiming on Casio ZR1000 but after researching and asking around, I made the decision of not getting it because it's just a compact camera and image quality doesn't seem to have a quality image but only good for self shooting as I wanted a camera with quality image which can bring around. Adding to it, the camera is only available through online, there are no shop here selling ready stock for it and I could not test the functions so that's why I decided to give up on it. Then I saw Canon 100D (the smallest DSLR), looked at the price and think I should wait for it to drop as I wasn't aiming for camera of more than 2k for that moment. Then, I came to know about Sony Nex 3N through advertisement in fb. I can say this is what I want! Compact size with quality image and affordable price too! But then I came to know Sony Nex 5R which one of my friend has bought it. I tried it and quite like it. It was just like 3N but with wifi and touch screen. I used to think wifi and touch screen wasn't a big deal but after I used it, I felt it was quite convenient and more easier to think photo so decided to get it. I went around to few Sony shop and asked about the price. It was 2399 with one lens. But recently they have raya sales and it was 1999 in one of the Sony shop and I felt that it was time for me to get it. Then the sad news came. They have no more stock for it and won't be getting new stock of it. The sales promoter then recommended me to get the one with 2 lens which cost 2699 after discount. I didn't want to get 2 lens as I think I wont use much of the zoom lens which was only to shoot far distance things. So, I went off and went to other Sony shop to see whether they have stock. In the end, only those selling 2199 have stock and my last hope was the other branch of that same Sony shop that sell at 1999 have stock. So, today I went with a little hope but get to know they will not get stock for that camera anymore as the model was a bit older then 3N. So, in the end I have decided to get 3N as it was cheaper and have the same function just without wifi and touch screen.

So, present to u my new toy Sony Nex 3N!!

sunday evening

It was a sunny Sunday which was planned for a photoshoot of my friend and her bf at the beach. Me and another friend was asked to accompany her and give her and the photographer who is also our friend some ideas or poses. The photoshoot went really well and we had lots of fun. They shoot theirs and we self shoot ourselves too. Without further bragging, let's see the photos of how much fun we had. Haha.

Just random feeling

All these while I am seem to be strong, independent and positive yet deep inside me I'm not. I'm really not. Being a coward just don't seem to be appear in front of people yet just when I'm alone. It's just so tired sometimes that I am force by my environment to be what I am not. Loneliness seem to be surrounding me always. Feeling down at times and wish to have a listener or a shoulder for me to cry on yet couldn't find one. Scared that I'll be bothering people too much or get annoyed by them so ends up not finding anyone. Everything that's not happy will just be hidden up from them and all I have is music to calm me down and cheer me up. So the cheerful me with the smile that you see was always the after filtered me. I want my friends feel happy when I'm with them instead of me given them all the sadness.

I tried to appreciate what I have and given. I want to say I'm not happy but come to think of that there are many who are less fortunate and worried how can they survive tomorrow, it knock off my mind and make me feel that my life is far more better and should not be unhappy when I don't have to worry about what they worries. I have a home and family although it's already not a complete family yet it's good enough better than not having any.

A Day Trip to Sematan

Hello June~ Starting off with few days holiday of Hari Gawai! Yay! Finally a time to rest to the max! Working life in office is just ain't fun at all. It's just so boring and dull life with lots of paper work to do where everyone is hoping for public holidays to come. The more holidays, the happier we are! Haha. During weekends or holidays, I always love to go back to the nature, visiting places like beach, hot spring, mountain or cave, somewhere that are a little far from the city. So this time, me and few friends went to Sematan for a day trip. It was more than an hour but below two hours drive to there.

We went to the Palm Beach at Sematan. Entrance Fee for day trip was RM5 for adult and RM3 for child. The place was full of people as it was public holiday for us in Sarawak. So now, let the photos tell u.

May wonderbox!

After waiting and waiting, checking on the website for tracking number (no number found or website wasn't accessible-got error), checking on the facebook page when will be sending out the wonderbox, and finally I received my May Wonderbox! I feel a bit weight when I hold it and the box couldn't close tightly. Then I start wondering what product will it be in the month when opening the outer layer plastic. Slowly unwrapping it and untie the ribbon. And here it is, the May Wonderbox!

 We've got the Senze Studio RM50 discount voucher(terms and conditions apply and obviously I can't use it too as it's located in KL..sad case), Ginvera Whitening Marvel Gel, LeScenteur body & hand lotion and perfume, The Body Shop body butter, Bio-Essence Radiant Youth Essence, and Neutrogena Hydro Boost night concentrate sleeping pack. I was excited to see the Bio-Essence product as I wanted to try it for quite a long time but didn't managed to and the Neutrogena sleeping pack was a product that I heard from few friends that it received a lot of good comments and they would like to know whether it's really that good or not after I've tried.

OK, now bigger photos of each products. First of all, the Ginvera Whitening Marvel Gel. We got the tube and also sample pack of Whitening Marvel Gel and Ultimate Sun Shield with SPF56 PA++. Marvel Gel is a gel that helps us to get rid of blackheads with no pain. All you need to do is apply it on your blackhead areas and rub it gently. You will find the gel become something like ermm..I don't know what is that call but is like the thing that come out when you rub your eraser. Haha. Get it? It's ok if you don't, just try the product and you'll know what I mean.

Group Photoshoot

Having photoshoot with my close friends is just so fun and happy! This time is my second time being photoshoot by Demitri. Love the photos so much. In the photos, we have Aderine aka HY, Shi Yu aka SY and me JY. Three of us have been friends since secondary school. We knew each other from been in the same class in a tuition school for 4 years! Was schoolmates and classmates in secondary school. That means we have been friends from 2004 till now, so roughly 9-10 years of friendship! Time passed so fast and we are all grown up and moving on to our working life(only 2 of us though, shi yu is still studying). With our busy life, we are still manage to catch up with each other thanks to our smart phone, facebook and internet. Haha.

We called ourselves S.H.J as our chinese name are SY, HY, JY. All the same "Y" behind, so we just use the front one. 3 of us, having different personality and character, getting together is just like mixing different chemicals which does not explode and able to combine together. I think we are a bit similar to my idol S.H.E, character wise too. SY and HY being the talkative ones just like Selina and Ella while I'm the quiet one like Hebe. You guys agree? Haha.

Ok, without further talking, let's move to the photos! Our album was named Make It Three! Didn't thought of Demitri would give this name though. Was thinking maybe it would be named Friendship or Friendship that never ends or something related to friendship. Well, this is creative! Something that others don't think of. Haha. Eyeliner

On a bored day, I decided to try out a birthday present which is liquid eyeliner. It's the liquid eyeliner from IN2IT. Not a popular brand I guess but is easy to find in stores like Watson or Guardian. Here it is.

Can you believe that I have never apply liquid eyeliner by myself before? Well, now you know. It's my first time trying to draw by myself. Previously was my friends who help me to draw because I don't own a liquid eyeliner and my eyes are not so easy to draw. So here is it. My final outcome.

I think this is call the cat eyes? Or maybe not so cat enough. Haha. See how big it turned!! But will be scary if I go out like this I think. It looks cool or maybe a bit rock style like Avril Lavigne but not as smoky black as hers. This is only suit for photoshoot. Now I can have bigger eyes when I go for photoshoot. Now is only single or inner double eyelid, my eyes already look big. If add on to fake eyelashes or double eyelid, I think my eyes would be BIGGER. Haha.

台湾

昨天看到电视节目介绍一些在台湾但是像外国的地方，台湾人没钱出国去那些地方就像是出了国去旅游。顿时感觉到台湾人好幸福哦，不用花太多钱就可以在台湾玩透透。好想去台湾玩哦~ 每次看电视节目介绍都有一股冲动想赶快订机票飞过去，可惜还没有存够钱去那里环岛玩透透。终有一天我一定会去的。存钱存钱存钱！！

为了记录那些节目介绍的地方，我就在这留下记录。等我要去的时候还可以参考，也顺便和大家分享，有一些你们也许不知道，就读读看看咯。

Tutti Fruiti

Yay! Tutti Fruiti is now available in Kuching. It's located in CityOne, Level 3. It's kinda in a strategic lot where people who goes to GSC will definitely see it because once u get up from the escalator, Tutti Fruiti is just in front of your eyes. 

Me and my friends went there to look for it. We walked through from the bottom to the top and finally found  it. Ain't that hard to find if we know it's located at level 3. We have no idea where it was, so we walked through all the shop from ground floor, level 1, level 2 and finally level 3. Couldn't express the feeling of how happy we are when we saw the shop.

So, here it is. Our own Tutti Fruiti!

We shared this as the price of it is kinda high. RM 0.56 per gram if I'm not mistaken. It has few flavours to choose from. We chose Red Velvet, Chocolate and Passion Fruit. For us, we think that passion fruit is the best among the 3 we have chose. It just not too sour, the taste is just nice for a hot day which would cool us down. Everything there is do it yourself! you get to press the machine to get your frozen yogurt yourself and add on the toppings by yourself. Everything is counted by grams so be careful, don't be scared by the price if you added too much. haha. xD 

My Third Wonderbox!

After the last disappointing box, I still decided to give wonderbox a chance as before they really give a surprising box and it did it again for this box. I was able to redeem this box from the wonder points I have earned so I can say it is my birthday present but a late one since my birthday fall on 19th while the box only arrived on 23rd. So here it is.

 It was wrapped up like this when I open it! Wow, overflowed wonderbox with another small box outside! And it's blue ribbon! Kinda love that colour. 

 Here's what inside! The one outside been put together in there. I tried squeezing it all into the box and it really cant be closed. Can say I'm just too bored? Of course cant fit in, if can fit in, they would have put it in. LOL.

 Vouchers and advertisements received. But some were not able to use as the location of the place is only in KL. So yea, useless and wasted for me =( If anyone wants, I would love to give it away.
