Taiwan Day 8

It's the day we are leaving Taiwan. Early in the morning we have already booked a taxi to bring us to the airport the day before. We got this nice lady taxi driver from my friend's cousin. If not wrong I think we booked at 5 or 5.30 am because the distance to airport is around 45 mins or 1 hour and our flight is around 9 something. The lady treat us breakfast! how nice~ Although is only sandwiches and yakult, is a special service from her to the customers she said. And throughout the way to airport, she talk non stop with us. My friend who sit in front try to sleep but was waken up by her. Haha. I forgot how much is the taxi fee already. Maybe NT$900. It's a fixed price for all taxi there so don't worry that you are being charged higher.

When we reached the airport, there are many people and we are happy that we went earlier and won't miss the flight as the line was really long. It's like maybe 15 mins or more outside when checking in our luggage and inside when going thru the custom was like half an hour or more. So be sure to go earlier if you don't want to miss your flight.

So that ends my first trip to Taiwan. Hoping for a second one not long later. It is a really great experience and enjoying moments with my buddies.

Taiwan Day 7

Day 7, the journey has almost reach the end. Last day to walk around. For this day, we have planned to go to 阳明山 yang ming san to see the 海芋 flower as it is the season by that time. From xi men ding, we use mrt to 劍潭站 jian tan station, then from there use bus 红5 to go up to yang ming san. Everything was smooth around here but after reaching yang ming san we are a bit lost because yang ming san is too big. I suggest if you wanna go there must book a taxi or else will be wasting a lot of time like us. Waiting for bus and walking for a long time without much direction. Somemore it's raining that time. Luckily we brought umbrella along. Taking photos along the way to make us less tired.

So, don't know after how long of walking we finally reached.

Taiwan Day 6

So, it's the 6th day at Taiwan. We are going to 平溪线 ping xi line (菁桐 jing tong and 十分 shi fen) and 九份 jiu fen today. We head to train station use 台铁 train to go to 瑞芳 rui fang then from rui fang buy the ticket for the train as below to go to 菁桐 jing tong and 十分 shi fen. 

Reminder: 

1. Make sure you have some breakfast before going as we thought that we can buy breakfast from the station but there was none and we are starving before we reach 十分 shi fen.

2. Be sure to take a look at the train schedule once you get down of the station so that you can plan your time and not miss the train.

This train is very full when I go. Not sure is always like this or just some days as many people is going to 十分 shi fen. The train was so crowded that the train is full of standing people but after shi fen, half of the passenger will be gone. One more reason is the train is only available once in one or two hours, that's why most people will try to get in the train once there is a train coming.
