Another travelling trip is here. This time we're going to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! This is my first time going there. First impression of KK was beautiful island, beach and mountains and the famous Mount Kinabalu. Our flight is here!
Happy faces to start our journey.
From Kuching to Kota Kinabalu, it was only around 1 hr and 20 mins. Our flight was 1.40pm and we landed in KK airport few minutes before 3pm. It was really fast. Just had a little sleep and you will be there sooner than you think. Here we are, landing at the airport looking at the beautiful sea and islands!
We're staying at my friend's uncle house. Because the uncle need to go back to work after fetching us, so once we reached we went to put down our luggage at the house and then was put at the city mall to walk around and waiting for time. In the city mall, we saw this nice stall selling durian ice-cream and durian puff. So we had a try since there was nothing else to do. It was really really durian. If you're a durian lover, you will sure love it. RM3 for one ice-cream.
Durian puff was nice too. It really feels like you are eating a real durian. RM10 for 7 puff.
After the uncle finish working and went to fetch us back to the house to get ready for dinner. Our dinner was at a restaurant that is famous for it's crocodile meat called Borneo Wild Treasure Restaurant 野味宝餐馆. So below are the dishes of our dinner. First was crocodile meat. Couldn't believe that it actually taste nice.
Then, we have tie ban toufu
Forget what soup is this.

salted butter cheese chicken
And we got gui ling gao as dessert for free!
So, that's all for Day 1. Didn't do much and kinda bored and was hoping second day would be better.
