first time try baking cookies with cooking chocolate
didn't do it well tho..
hmmm..may try again next time
the challenging part is the chocolate
because it become hard fast so need to be quick when doing it
so here's the result of it.. this is chocolate almond cookies
before putting on chocolate
seem nice rite?
after putting it...
arghhh..so ugly..
de surface of it not smooth =(
due to not enough of chocolate,
this one is made after my mum went to buy de dark coloured chocolate
and this seems better than the previous one..
it's de same recipe
ok, now another recipe with chocolate
i've manage to take photos of the process of making
so here it goes...
1. Beat 125g butter and 60g icing sugar in a mixer until fluffy.
2. Add in 1 egg yolk and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and mix well.
3. Add in 60g almond powder, 20g cornflour and 190g plain flour into mixture and mix together to form dough(as shown in below).
4.Place the dough between sheets of plastic and roll flat to a thin layer.
5. Stamp out the shape design of your choice of cookie cutter.
6. Leave it on the baking tray in line.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180'C for 15-20 minutes.
After bake it become a little bit bigger.
8. Let it cool well before putting chocolate.
9. You can either dip each cookie into the melted chocolate or (my way)-use a spoon to put the chocolate on each cookie. Then, leave to set and it's done.
This is my result of it.
my skill is still not so good tho
so the surface of the chocolate is not that nice
but it still taste nice..hehe
Well, that's for the first time "playing" with cooking chocolate..haha
hope i can make a better one next time =)
