Fairy Cave

A visit to Fairy Cave, Bau

We planned to visit both wind cave and fairy cave today

but unfortunately wind cave was closed (for maintenance i think?)

so, we only went fairy cave

Now, let the photos speak for themselves..haha

As I'm only using my phone camera,

One friendly reminder,

Bring a torchlight with u..

some part of the cave is really dark and would need some light

Phone flashlight is good enough if u dont have a torchlight =)

birthday 2012

This is an awesome year for me

2 celebration with 2 different gangs

1st celebration was an early surprise with another friend whose birthday falls 2 days before me

2nd celebration was on my actual birthday with my girls

so

1st celebration

held at Alfresco on 15 April(sunday)

I was told to have dinner there to try the food

dont know why..

I just feel like wearing dress and in the mood of curling my hair

then make myself all dressed up with contact lens n mascara

my friends were a bit shocked when they saw me 

and thought i know their surprise plan

hahaha

just like "gotcha!" xP

but they act normally

so, we had our dinner and chit-chating there

nothing suspicious

this is when the moment comes..

2 of them went to get the cake inside while the rest of us were outside

and one of my friend outside suggested to go inside

and she didn't know the 2 of them were getting the cake

oppps..

cake was not ready yet

 2 of them trying to put the candle on

*awkward moment*

hahaha

I was thinking is it for me or the other friend?

i guess he was also thinking is it for him?

so ya..it's for both of us..

and surprisingly the cake was a handmade cake made by 2 guys 

wow! unbelievable..

*to cut short the story

after the normal birthday procedure

the birthday girl n boy were forced to sing at the open karaoke provided

few of them also sang..

so it ends the night

2nd celebration
held at Fullhouse last night (19 April)
this is obviously celebrating my birthday but still got surprise tho
the surpirse was that the birthday cake was taken out by the staffs at Fullhouse and they are singing birthday song along too
wow..didn't know that the service was this good..
hahaha
surprised me for a moment..
a bit shocked too
like "how did they know it's my birthday? how they know is me?"
LOL
obviously should be my friends tell them..
well, had a great night with many photos taken..

Matang Wildlife Centre

A visit to Matang Wildlife Centre

it takes around 30-45 minutes to reach from Kuching I think..

depends on the traffic

So finally we are here..

paid for the entrance fee

it cost RM10 for adults while it was RM5 for students

and we got a discount which was like 5 person free 1 person

so 5 person pay RM20

but sadly, i was told that this offer will no longer be available starting from 1st of May 2012

so if u wanna go, better go soon xD

we are given a map of the wildlife centre when we pay the entrance fee

which was same as this

few more walks later..we saw this..

beware of orangutans!

there were few animals there..
but I only get to snap few photos of them coz some were kinda dark..
so cant really see it as i'm only using my phone

last but not least, the sunbears

after finish exploring, we went to this stream

dip our feet into this cold cold water..
it feels so nice
after getting bored,
they started to throw the stones..
and here comes my creativity
i asked them to throw the stones and make this nice art

there were lots of them but this is the nicest

there was a lady super pro fishing there..
few seconds can catch a fish @.@
but the fish there was small lah..
after watching her catching like 7 fishes i think..
is time for us to go..
time to go back for lunch..

A trip to Annah Rais Hot Spring today

Finally..we are here!
after 45 mins to 1 hour of journey..
saw some pretty nice scenery on the way tho..

As it was a public holiday, there was a lot of people here.
we thought that there was student price but unfortunately it was only for primary and secondary school kids which cost RM3 for them
As for us, we paid the entrance fee for RM5 and went in
ahh, the feel of nature..

the hot spring was too hot that nobody dare to soak their feet inside
so most people only play around in the cold water river

we brought some eggs to cook too

but somehow the eggs were still not cooked after one hour =.=

maybe we should bring a pot and put the eggs inside with the hot spring water instead?
haha

Well, I didn't take much photos of ourselves coz my friends took it with the camera already
but i've took photos of  different butterflies~
haha xD

And this small fella landed on my finger!

not to forget, there is dragonfly too!

Hah, looks like I went there to snap photos of insects..

LOL

We went back around 12 something i guess..

but the way back took us a longer time and way 

thanks to someone who suggested to use a different way which go out to the big road faster

who knows...haihz

the road has more hills and turns and it's small!

which makes us a bit dizzy inside de car..@.@

and sorry my poor car, u've suffer a lot..

having hard time climbing the hills,

will let u rest for few days

next time, no more trying new road

dont wanna get this kind of surprise again=.=

Anyways, it was a nice trip tho..

Good Friday was spent with some nice memories

not bad la
